It's a GIRL!!!

After 20 amazing weeks of pregnancy, we were able to tell that WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!!! I'm so stinking excited! Seeing all the details of her little body at the Dr's office was so reassuring and made everything just THAT MUCH more real. She's awesome!
With today's technology, we were able to see the 4 chambers of her heart all working, her diaphragm, stomach, brain hemispheres, nose, lips, toes...SO COOL! She's awesome! That's just about the only word I have to describe her...and what an awesome God to create something so wonderful!

Based on measurements and all, she's beautiful, healthy, and weighs in at about 11 oz. Her heartbeat is now about 137BPM.

We told my family on Skype...not as great as the real deal, but what a blessing of technology! My nieces were excited to have a girl for a 1st cousin, but the nephews were a bit disappointed. Apparently, Jonas (age 4), suggested that we name her "Dirty," "Sock" or "White as Snow." SO cute! We had Matt's family over for dinner and gave them each a cupcake for dessert. The cake inside the cup was PINK! This is the 1st baby girl in their lives...Matt's mom is excited to say the least!

I have now been feeling her kick for about 2 weeks. I wasn't sure that I was feeling the real deal at first, but just a few days after I 1st felt her, she was going kindof nuts while I was laying in bed. I grabbed Matt's hand, and he got there in time...he totally felt her! So far that's been his only time, but I'm sure there's much more to come soon!

I'll try to get another picture posted on here before too long. Matt saw me in spandex the other day and totally stopped in his tracks to say "Wow!"...he didn't realize my belly was quite so round these days! Fun stuff!

As for names...don't even ask. We don't plan to spill the beans until she gets here!
